The Author
Jay Davis is a writer, producer, filmmaker, and children's author from Bellwood, Illinois. He's the creator of The Adventures of JD & Marcus, a children's series inspired by his real-life childhood on Linden Avenue.
Beyond the books, Jay is the creator of Creative Hustle on TUBI, founder of Chicago IndieCon, and creator of the Bernie Mac Lifetime Achievement Award. His work has been featured on FOX, NBC Chicago, REEL Chicago, and the Chicago Sun-Times.
